Yup, same here. Can't seem to win for losing with them I swear...! What's even more **bleep**ed up in my situation is... I've been waiting years for the IRS to reconsider 2 year's of my tax refunds they audited me for.. 3 separate years I've been audited for the same exact reason, (proof of relationship to child dependents) which I already proved to them after the first year they audited me for it back in 2017. Finally got that but now I'm waiting on 2019 & 2021, & I've had to pay thousands in taxes towards those 2 years out of prior year's refunds while they examine my documents and files. I'm waiting on a total of $26,000 from the IRS including this year's refund. All I know is that I better see a fat chunk of compounded interest included when they finally decide to square up!
