I filed my California return on February17. I owed taxes and designated the amount to be taken out of my checking account on April 14. I discovered a mistake on February 18 that results in a refund instead of owing money. Can I quickly file an amended return that will correct the mistake, so I will get the refund due and not have any money taken out of my checking account on April 14?
