If you haven't filed yet, please follow these steps to change your direct deposit information in TurboTax Online:
- Sign in to TurboTax and open or continue your return.
- From the left panel, choose File
- Select Start/Revisit/Continue next to Step 2: Your refund/payment info (Note: you will have to complete Step 1 before moving on to Step 2)
- Select See all options on the screen Get your refund up to 5 days early
- Choose Direct Deposit and follow through the interview questions
If you have already filed, you won't be able to change your direct deposit information. If the bank kicks the deposit back, then the IRS will issue you a paper check.
