You will not be able to amend your return online. TurboTax Online for 2017 will shut down permanently after next Monday. You will be able to download special amendment software and install it on your computer. You will use that to amend your return. But you will need the .tax2017 tax data file for your return in order to amend it. Download the .tax2017 file NOW so that you have it when you are ready to amend. Otherwise you will not be able to access it until sometime in December.
