That happened to me a year or so ago. I saw the email that said Congratulations you submitted your tax forms.
However I didn't see an email saying they accepted my tax forms and later upon searching all my old emails I saw one that said it wasn't accepted and then when I opened that year's TT, it showed return was NOT accepted. It was all because of some minor glitch in an empty text box. Lesson learned the hard way.
