If you attempt to e-file and it doesn't send, the returns you download will not have a date and signature on it, because that would have been supplied and bound to the returns during the e-filing process. However, you can use a PDF reader to add a date and signature to each return before printing, but don't forget to exclude the instruction sheets provided by TurboTax from your mailing.
