After you file

Bravo for TT!!! They made pisst off a big percent of their long term customers for not be truthful and upfront. The issue with the EV cars it was most of the problems holding people tax return to just see that the problem is with the IRS clean vehicle records. Spend another 30 minutes reviewing again the tax return, removed the ^&%^&% clean vehicle form, re-submitted, and guess what?!?!

2 minutes later it was accepted by the IRS.

Why not let the customers decide what to do???? In my case my EV car is not showing on the IRS database, so I have to chase back the dealership, convince them to provide me the documentation, then call the IRS provide them with the evidence and obviusly wait whatever time they want to include the car in the clean vehicle database. Guess what? I removed the clean vehicle form, forget about the $4k credit, I will not hold my entire tax refund because of something that I may not even able to resolve. This is a lesson learned for everybody else buying an EV car. Make sure YOU make the dealership REDUCE those tax credit at the moment of the car transaction and forget about with that with the IRS, I am sure this will bring a long tail because probably dealership had been telling the customers to claim those EV credits but behind scenes their dealership had been claiming those credits on their behalf.

But why TT made this decision of holding my tax return for me and not just tell me upfront that was the issue since the beginning. the next day of submittal if they tell me I will just REMOVE the %$% car from the tax return and just give that up on my mind as a loss and a dealership scam. But that decision it should be the customer. A lot of frustration, a lot of mad customers for nothing. I expend yesterday a lot of time filling the tax return in the CashApp Taxes app and I had it ready for submittal if TT didn't resolved today.
