Thanks. I just checked with Vanguard to see whether they've heard anything about my issue with TurboTax and the answer was "no."
As noted, all of the information on the consolidated 1099 appears in the review section of the particular import (and I also tried entering the information manually) and yet nothing appears on my income summary chart or on page 1 of the 1040.
There are many weeks ahead during which TurboTax can solve this, but the real solution could be H&R Block.
