You're child should file their own return and enter they are being claimed on someone else's return as a dependent. To enter this in TurboTax, follow these steps:
- Create a TurboTax Account for your child
- Answer interview questions for My info
- Mark the box for another taxpayer can claim me as a dependent on their return
- Mark the box yes
