The Additional Child Tax Credit can be claimed when the full Child Tax Credit can’t be used. If you received the full Child Tax Credit, you would not receive any Additional Child Tax Credit. If you do need to file an amended 2024, return to TurboTax after Feb 13th, when Form 1040-X becomes available.
