The IRS should automatically mail a check in about 4 weeks from the blocked deposit. If it takes more than 8 weeks, call the IRS. If your address is different, the check should be forwarded if you set up forwarding with the mail. If the check is not forwarded, it will be returned to the IRS and you will have to put a trace on your refund to locate it and issue a new check. But wait 8 weeks from the rejected deposit before you try to start a trace.
