After you file
Things don't seem usual this year with the IRS. If your return is processing, that means the IRS is working on it. When they finish you will see the usual bars. 21 days is the historical normal time frame for 9 out of 10 filers to have their returns completed. If you have EIC or additional child tax credit, you won't see the refund until near the end of February.
