Hello,
I received $5,000 in relocation expenses from my company in Nov 2022. I left the company recently and now they are stating i owe them around $4300. This included $3000 in taxes in addition to the $5000 and some other fees. I live in NJ so not sure where the $3000 came from if I included this on my tax return in 2022. Should I explain this when I file my taxes for 2024?
