I got a tax advocate through my senator in my state because I was trying to find out what the hold up was with my refund/taxes and I was contacted by my tax advocates office and was informed that I needed to submit an amendment for federal taxes for 2023 so I did on 15 August 2023. I submitted an amendment also for state of missouri. How long after the amendment is accepted and submitted does it take to process? What if I get another notice from the IRS? If I get another notice, do I need to respond? Thanks maria gloeckler
