Anyway, thanks for your help, but I've called the IRS # for weeks and never gotten through, have used the trick you mentioned and it hangs up on me at the end, saying they have too many calls waiting. Our local IRS is closed, the nearest one is 100 miles and they don't take phone calls--only a number to set up an appointment. Even TurboTax indicates I haven't filed, because I printed and mailed since you can't e-file 20 and 21, so I can't find a phone # for Turbo to call to ask a question. I paid the $80 senior filing TurboTax dowload fee for the 1040 twice, one for each year. I'm going to file 22 with TurboTax soon and will just hope for the best!
