Each time I was asked what level I wanted to pay for with Turbo Tax I chose the lowest amount. My refund was $433 with $22 to be paid to the state, so I anticipated receiving $411. Instead, I only got $194 after TurboTax took out #127 for premium(which I never selected and was careful not to throughout the entire process), another $64 for processing the state refund, and another $40 just labeled processing fee.
That's ridiculous to be hiding this stuff. It was not on my final receipt that I saw when I filed. Even if this is the IRS putting more fees on y'all for doing the taxes, it's a scam to hide that from people who have trusted you with their income and the possibility of receiving the money back that the government withheld from them in the first place. I will not be using turbo tax in the future.
