accepted comes first but that only means a quick check by the IRS computers found no reason to reject the return. once accepted it undergoes further processing and with all the return submitted in the last few days it takes the IRS computers a few days to fully process your return. The IRS systems date back decades so your cell phone may be more powerful than any IRS computer.
