I had the same thing in an email that said I used my email on a previous years tax return and I have never used turbo tax before, but I verified my identity and my refund came no problem, I did however go to the Social Security Website and register to view the income activity under my SS# and I was fine but I had to go into a SS office to confirm my identity. If I were you I would take an extra few steps to make sure everything is ok... Identity theft and people who use your SS# to work is not a joke and should be followed up on ASAP.
