Yes, the six digit IP PIN doesn't go at the end of the return. Here's how to enter it:
- Sign in to TurboTax Online and select Fix my return.
- On the Let's fix your return and then refile screen, select Fix it now or Revisit.
- Try to follow the on-screen instructions to fix the problem.
- If the program doesn't take you to the IP PIN screen, scroll down to Other Tax Situations, select the down arrow to the right.
- Select Review/ Edit.
- Select the down arrow to the right of Other Return Info
- Select Start or Update to the right of Identity Protection PIN.
- Answer the first question Yes.
- Select Add to the right of your name.
- Enter the number on the next screen.
- At this point, look for Continue to file and keep going until you submit your return again.
