I know I will have additional income in 2024 (Social Security benefits and more interest income.) I owed additional taxes on my 2023 tax return, plus a penalty for under-payment. I want to avoid that in 2024, by using my 2023 return as a starting point and add income to see what my taxes would be, which will help me to adjust my withholding in 2024. Is that what Taxcaster does?
