This error is caused by an entry in your non-cash charitable contributions. Form 8283 is required when your noncash donations exceed $500. You should go back and review your noncash donation entries, follow the instructions below:
- Login to your TurboTax account
- Go to Tax Home
- Select Deductions and Credits
- Go to Donations to Charity in 2023 and click Edit
- Review your entries for Noncash donations
- You can elect to have TurboTax guide you as you enter the information
