Once you transmitted your return via e-file no changes can be made to that return. Any changes would have to done via an Amended Return. Unless, your return is rejected. Then you can make changes, correct whatever caused the rejection and resubmit. If your return is not rejected, then you should evaluate whether or not you need to file an amended return.
