There is no fee for direct deposit. Direct deposit is free.
Are you using Free Edition which has no fees? If so, the rest of this answer may not apply to you. But if you do have some added fees, see the following:
There IS a fee, however, if you choose to pay any TurboTax fees out of your Federal refund. That payment method has a service fee of 39.99 (44.99 for California filers.) You avoid that fee by paying upfront with credit/debit card or a prepaid debit card.
