- I don't know how else to explain this.... My amount from TURBO TAX was 925 BEFORE they took 89.00 for federal 39.00 for state and 40.00 processing. This left me a balance (refund) of 853. When Turbo TAX sent my information to sbtp.. THEY ALSO charged me 128. For tax and prep fees 10.24 for other fees (that is how it is listed ) AND they also charged 40.00 for processing. My 853 refund was reduced to 674.00 why would I pay ANOTHER 138.00 in fees when my taxes were prepared by turbo tax? I have a receipt from TurboTax stating payment completed. I've sent the receipt to Santa Barbara along with my refund amount PRIOR TO turbo tax fees. It shows 925.00 it's not that complicated. Either TURBO tax owes me 168 or Santa Barbara owes me 138.
