- Pending
- This means the IRS has not picked your return up yet.
- Rejected
- Unfortunately, this means the IRS has looked at it, but doesn't like something.
- Sometimes there is a clear message stating the error,
- Sometimes there is an error code.

- Accepted
- This is what you want to see.
- It means the IRS has it, but it may take a while to process.
- You probably won't be able to track it until it is processed.

- Social Security Number.
- Tax return year.
