I file taxes on 2/1/24. For a whole week it says return received. I never noticed it takes this long to process and move to accept. I am looking at the IRS tool. Could something be wrong? I look at my tax paper work and I see the boxes are not checked for if my dependents were disabled or lived with me. I don’t see my signature in the tax paper either. Could that be the problem? Should I do an amend to add info? I don’t understand why it is blank. I e -filed with turbo tax. Is any this how it should be and why is it taking so long?
Also, child tax law was passed? We’re is the extra money coming? Could it be delayed because of the additional money we will receive? Is that right that a law passed?
