After you file
If you have already submitted the return, there is no way to stop the e-filing.
Think of it as if you put the tax return in the mail, you cannot get it back.
You would need to wait for your return to be accepted or rejected. If rejected you can fix the error, if accepted you will need to file an amended return to fix the error.
