After you file

Mine did the same thing with turbotax. I found out that turbotax was defaulting to the standard deduction where H&R defaulted to itemized. I find it strange that with all the ai we have that they cannot default to the higher refund and give you the choice to change it.  anyways once I changed it H&R was still giving me $154 more in state and $1 less in federal Than turbotax. Guess I am filing with H&R for the first time this year.

 

I have to wait on filing for the IRS to approve the energy deduction for a heat pump water heater I purchased last year. I will keep checking as both programs update.
