My federal return was filed and accepted on 1/25/2024 but my state is in pending status. Why hasn't it been sent to California to be processed?

My federal return was filed and accepted on 1/25/2024 but my state is in pending status. Why hasn't it been sent to California to be processed?
The state said it had not been sent to them yet.
