If you left any substantial amount of income off your tax return,
you should amend and pay the additional tax by Tax Day (April 15)
or you will be liable to a late payment penalty.
Once your 1040 is ACCEPTED, and TurboTax opens for 1040-X,
you can file an amendment for a simple omission.
