Hello, I have a question about tax audits. Is the purpose of the audit to correct your mistakes the good and the bad or is to just find what is bad with it? If the auditor disallows say and advertising deduction and during the audit process I submit an extra utility i did not have before to deduct or extra business expense that I incurred will the auditor take that into account?
