Yes - they paid me too much. Yes - I did make an estimated tax payment (yes - it matches the amount of the overpayment) to cover a Roth conversion. But I entered this estimated tax payment into TurboTax (following TurboTax instructions for Roth Conversions), and then had a TurboTax Expert review what I had done. So - I don't see how this estimated payment ended up being added to the refund. ?? I'll call the [phone number removed] number (again) and use the options you suggested. It is always a dead end with a 1-1 combination. Thanks so much for the help!
