I purchased Turbo tax Premier software in 2020 (and also once more in 2021). I filed my original 2020's 1040 online using Turbo tax online using my Premier Purchase and also the original was filed/accepted electronically. That is the reason I was thinking I SHOULD be able to file my 1040-X amendment as well electronically.
