I currently live and work in CT and will be moving to NYC on July 15. Thus I will have been in CT for >184 days. The NY domicile rule is confusing me. Am I a resident of NYC for completing my IT-2104 regardless of days since will live there for even part of the year? What returns/status will I be for CT and NY? Non-resident, part-year resident or resident?
