I forgot to include form 8606 for non-traditional IRA contribution and backdoor Roth IRA conversion
In 2001, I made a non-deductible contribution of $6000 into my IRA account and then backdoor $6000.01 into my Roth IRA. There was $0 basis before 2021.
My questions are
1) Do I need to file 1040x? Or I only need to file delinquent 8606? I know there are different mailing address for thise two forms.
2) Since I backdoored $6000.01 to my Roth and I only contributed $6000 after tax money, so I actually owe tax on this $0.01 (taxable amount calculated in form 8606). Do I need to file 1040x for this additional 1 cent taxable amount?
