Hello. So I thought I needed to do an amendment on my 2021 taxes and went all the way through to the "print" process (without actually printing anything), but then I realized I didn't need to amend at all. Regardless, I got to the snail mail section of the amendment but never actually printed anything.
HOWEVER, even when I cancelled the amendment (I have already followed all instructions on this page) my original return has still completely vanished from the 2021 tab of my taxes on the homepage. When I click to download the pdf now it shows me this amended return that I want to get rid of. It also says the status of my 2021 return is the amendment and "printed" rather than the old "accepted".
How do I get rid of this amendment completely from my account? Did TurboTax file the amendment somehow or am I okay to just disregard it? I'd prefer to have my actual 2021 return documents back in the 2021 tab.
