Went to irs.gov, retrieved our IP PIN and it indicates, "your 2023 Identity Protection PIN." I tried it and the return was rejected via e-file. That makes me question if we're supposed to use the 2022 PIN for the 2022 tax year, so I tried that and it was rejected again. This is an annual headache and we end up mailing our return every year. Any thoughts?
