My 2021 Turbo Tax generated tax return includes form 8824 for a Like-Kind Exchange. In 2021 sold my rental in Kansas and identified the replacement property in Nebraska with-in 45 days. I purchased the property in January 2022. Although the 8824 was filed, the sold property still shows up when I open the rental property section. Did I do something wrong in 2021 or will this work its way out when I create the new property in the 2022 return?
