For an Amendment to 2022, why does TT want me to correct Form 8888 if the amendment requires me to now pay $521? I received a refund on my original submission.
I've already received a refund from my original submission (combination of direct deposit and savings bonds), and I now owe $521 after this amendment. TT found an issue during the final check, and directed me to fix Form 8888 (refunds), but the original values no longer apply (or add up) since I now owe $521. I suspect Form 8888 shouldn't be part of my amendment.
