Does this mean IRS did not receive my tax forms last year?
I need to amend my 2021 Tax return but was told to wait until my return was processed.
I have a $500 refund due to me for 2021 taxes
Now I suspect IRS never received my mailed in copy.
Two days ago I e-filed via TurboTax my 2022 Tax return and it was rejected.
Yesterday after creating new PINs through the IRS website I e-filed and the return was accepted by IRS.
What should I mail in for last year 2021 tax:
1. a copy of my 2021 Amended Tax return
2. a copy of my 2021 mailed in return
3. Correct my 2021 Tax return now in TurboTax only send it in
4. Send all of the above in with explanation of IRS may not have received my 2021 Tax return last year.
Please advise.
