All of my loans are federal loans and did not require a cosigner so I believe that I am the primary borrower. This past tax year I did return home for the summer, so that means for tax season this year I would be considered a dependent. I do not plan to return the summer of 2018 which means for the next tax year that I will have not lived at their house at all. However, I do not plan on changing my permanent address or any addresses on my license yet.
