After you file

Can you clarify your question?  I stated that you filed your Roth contribution a "nondeductible" Traditional IRA.  On the next line you stated that it was reported as "deductible" Traditional IRA.  If you claimed your Roth contribution as a Traditional IRA contribution and you received a tax deduction on your tax return, then you will have to file an amended return.  If you did not claim a deduction for the contribution, you don't need to file an amended tax return, but you do need to file a corrected Form 8606 with the IRS.  Form 8606 can be filed with a tax return, or it can be filed independently.  You can download the form by clicking on the following link:  Form 8606
