I believe the Google online answer is not complete because I searched about dependent, it did say you are not eligible to receive Stimulus check if you are claimed as a dependent.
Now I know the qualification which brings me another question. My elder relative was claimed as a dependent for tax year 2019. She was not required to file and never did. She received first stimulus check ONLY. Had no information when contacted IRS about the second check. What would happen if her child(has not filed 2020 tax yet) claims her as a dependent on 2020's tax return? This elder relative passed away in 2021.
