I am seeking some guidance regarding the application of Oregon carry forward tax credits on my state return. Specifically, I have two different credits avaiable and would like to know if there is there a way to choose the order in which the credits are applied. It appears that Turbo Tax simply applies them based on the which credit code comes first (e.g. 856 before 871). As I have prior year credits available for the 871 credit, I would like to apply this one first. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
