If the 1040 is rejected, is the Credit Card Payment rejected too?

Regarding a message Turbotax sent back to me, after I electronically filed, saying that the IRS rejected my tax return because of a problem with the AGI.  The issue is not the AGI, but rather the question is, whether or not my credit card has already been processed for payment???? (I cannot find anything that Turbotax has sent me saying the payment was rejected by the IRS too).    If so, should I mail in a paper 1040 to the IRS?  And do I get a receipt from Turbotax that Turbotax has made payment to the IRS ?   Or does that require payment (like a check), to be attached with the tax return?   If it requires a payment to be attached to the tax return, how do I go about canceling the payment made to my credit card?   Please reply soon!
