I have this issue also. E-filed on 02/24. Got email saying rejected on 02/25. Numerous restarts of TTPremier (File/Electronic Filing/Check Filing Status) just returns the "Pending" status. Called helpdesk at Intuit, and was told that the hangup was because the spouse's AGI for prior year was missing, and I was transferred to a "specialist", who said there was no way the previous person could have known about the AGI issue. Then I asked what I needed to do about the Pending issue, he said "The IRS has to refresh its database so try the next day. If that doesn't resolve it, contact the IRS and find out what the status is." (Which suggests that the issue might be Intuit's interface with IRS, and perhaps nothing to do with the actual return.) At any rate, it was obvious the rep was just guessing, so I don't expect I'll be calling them again.
Would it be better just to print and mail?
