If you used TurboTax Online, simply log in to your account and select “Amend a return that was filed and accepted.” You must file a separate Form 1040-X for each tax return you are amending. The program will walk you through the steps to prepare your amended return. Before you due an amendment, make sure your return has been accepted and fully processed.
