After you file

I too from 2018 had same problem. Mine however says I claimed funds for donations and I claimed a school tax none which are correct.

Turbo tax changed these things the I never claimed. I'm 53 have been filing my own taxes since I was 16 and back then this was manually done so I know very much how to file and understand. I have not filed with turbo tax some I found this out from a letter from irs stating my now ex husband and I owe $1700.00. This letter dated 2022. That's right... 4 yrs later im told this. My taxes last year which was only a total of $700 since I'm on long term disability so my days filing are done since non taxable income. They certainly took that $700 from me and the sent letter stated it went towards debt thank you for paying. To this day I have no clue how to fix this and my account still stands I owe $1700 not $1000.

And how my ex has been filing but has not been deducted as mine was.

But I blame turbo tax a trusted way to file.... So i thought.
