- I filed two weeks ago using TurboTax. The "Smart Check" tool indicated that there were no errors on my return.
- The IRS accepted my tax return within an hour of submission
- I don't qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) or the Additional Child Tax Credit (ACTC)
- Submitted via e-File
- Elected the Direct Deposit Option
Any ideas why it is taking so long to move to the Approved status? It has never taken this long to move from Received to Approved.
Several individuals I know that filed days after I did have already received their refunds electronically.
