In addition to what xmasbaby0 mentioned, the amended returns are not yet available for 2022 federal taxes.
The finalized form and instructions are expected from the IRS by February 23, 2023. Check back here for updates.
Amended Return Update
Once Form 1040X is available if you used TurboTax Online, simply login to your account and select “Amend a return that was filed and accepted.”
If you used our CD/download product, sign back into your return and select “Amend a filed return.” You must file a separate Form 1040-X for each tax return.
